Candidate Bio
- Tim is a candidate for County
Commissioner District #1. He and his wife Rebecca, who have been married
for 31 years, reside on the north side of Chandler. They have two
married children, Jennifer Luff and Kevin Mosbey and two grandchildren,
who all reside in Warrick County. Tim has been a life-long resident of
Warrick County and operates a grain farm raising corn, soybeans and
wheat. He has been involved in farming in Southern Indiana for over 28
years. He received the River Friendly Farmer Award from the State of
Indiana in 2002.
Tim has served the community in many ways. He was a ten year 4-H member
and is currently a 4-H leader in Chandler. He has also served as
President of the Warrick County 4-H Extension Board for four years. He
volunteered for 11 years on the Chandler Fire Department and has been a
member of St. Clement Catholic Church since 1980.
Tim is currently in his sixth year serving as District 2 representative
on the Warrick County Council. He has served as County Council Vice
President for two years and is currently serving as Chairman of the
Council Personnel Committee. He was a member of the Warrick County Park
Board, serving as its President and Vice President. Tim is a member of
the Elks and the Eagles and has also served on the Farm Service Agency
Board of Directors, including Chairman of the Board.
Goals
Tim has a proven record of public
service and a commitment to his fellow citizens. His main objective
is to bring honesty and fairness to county government and a mutual
respect to his fellow officeholders. Warrick County needs a facelift
and Tim hopes to work with his fellow County Commissioners to
project a better image of Warrick County and let everyone see just
how nice a place it is to live and raise a family.
